Specialist Outreach Program – Colorectal Services

The Outreach Program is an initiative aimed at improving access to specialized colorectal surgical care across Namibia. Due to the highly specialized nature of colorectal surgery and the limited number of specialists in this field, many patients in remote towns face significant challenges in accessing timely and appropriate treatment.

Dr. Daniel Jatileni is the only officially identified specialist colorectal surgeon currently practicing in Namibia. Recognizing the growing need for accessible specialist care, this program enables Dr. Jatileni to travel to various towns to provide consultations, assessments, minor procedures, follow-ups, and referrals where necessary.
